I’m very excited. My daughter is graduating from high school next month. She was accepted into many colleges, but ended up taking the one 15 minutes from home because she was accepted into a nursing program where after four years she will have her degree AND be ready to take the nursing exams. So I’m super excited for her.
I found this website with this cute little centerpiece and I knew I wanted to make one:

The colors of her school are green and gold so I used green paper and lined it with glittery gold washi tape. I used gold (okay it was yellow) tissue paper for the inside.
Super easy to make and her directions are fantastic.
I opted not to use the paper tassel and instead made one with gold embroidery thread.
It’s neat at night with a battery operated tea light inside:
I used my Zing for the project.
Today I also noticed that the lovesvg site I love to use has some great graduation and baseball images that they recently posted so I will definitely do something with those.
Thanks for reading!
Supplies:
Recollections paper
gold washi tape (apparently this stuff gets old because it didn’t want to stick.)
gold embroidery thread
yellow tissue paper
tea light candle.
This is awesome Deb! So happy for your daughter, around here there is generally a wait list for the nursing program.
Thank you! Yes, they only take 7% of applicants so we are super excited she made it.
