Here’s a great way to remind us to remember and count our blessings as this Thanksgiving Day approaches. This votive “candle” wrap fits on the the outside of a glass container and the “candle” is a battery operated flamless candle. It measures 3 inches on each side, 3-3/4 high and base leaf is about 3 inches long. Each pair of leaves are cut from 8-1/2 x 11 piece of card stock. The force I used was 100 with a speed of 350. The corners of each color are joined together w/glue. If you wish, you can introduce another autumn color just under the wording by cutting a different color strip of cardstock and gluing it to the banner or add a touch of sparkle to the letters by painting on a glitter glue. Do not use regular glue and glitter as it tends to flake off and isn’t too tasty! There are more festive designs available on Sandy McCauley’s site, iloveknk.com that make great conversation starters as everyone gathers at the dinner table. Have a most blessed Thanksgiving and have another piece of pie!
