Thank you card

My wife and I just recently got back from a trip, visiting family. While we were away, my good friend was kind enough to take care of our cat. To show our appreciation, I made this card, (which sported a nice iTunes Giftcard inside). The card is 3.75″ tall x 5.25″ wide.

The design was created mostly in KNK Studio and then copy and pasted into Make-The-Cut. I cut everything on the KNK Zing.

Materials used:

worldwin colormates cardstock and some worldwin doublemates for a little extra dimension.

  1. Can’t have too many card designs with the uniqueness of this one.. Thanks for sharing the files.

  2. Thanks! 🙂 I have a few ideas for the next project. All of the designers have been doing an awesome job! Lots of great ideas.

  3. Great job! I’m so impressed that you are cutting such great things after only being the techie person. Can’t wait to use this one. Excited to see your next one (and to see the Zing).

  4. Really NEAT!!! Thanks for sharing your talents and the files also!!! A good reminder that we need to say “Thanks!” a lot more often.

  5. WTG, Chad. We need more men in the business who KNOW what scrapping, card making, and designing are all about. Especially the ones selling to us. Great card – love the colors and the font you chose. Where did you find Worldwin Colormates paper? I love that paper and just can’t find it anymore.
Keep up the GREAT work!!! As the song says, “You’ve Only Just Begun!!!”

    • Is there a difference between Worldwin Colormates and Colormates Extraordinary Cardstock? Cause I just got some of that from Accugraphics today. I LOVE that paper. It cuts like butter.

  6. What a fun card!! Thanks for sharing the file..just wondering if you could show us the inside as well?? There was that piece that looked like a tag….does that attach on the inside, or am I just not seeing it here?

  7. Hey Chad, thanks so much for sharing with us. And I know that we all appreciate the work that you do for all of us. Thanks again.

  8. Great Job Chad! I love the bright colors and the unique detail of mimicking the lower letter shape along bottom edge.
