Make heads spin with this Spinner Dolphin card! Summer isn’t over until the dolphin spins up some fun in the sun. You don’t need a reason to send a card and a summertime smile to friends and family… and this will do it. Whimsical and twirly-whirly fun, you can do this on your KNK cutter and two pennies. I used my Maxx cutter, cool ocean color cardstock and vibrant beach colors. Using 2 passes, a force of 110, speed of 350 and a little engineering, this is a fun project to make. There are two pennies that sandwich a sticky foam dot which is used as the mechanism to glue the dolphins on. There is a cut out lengthwise channel the penny mechanism straddles and rolls when you move (dip) the card from left to right. The dolphin appears to dive in and out of the waves. Everyone will delight with the “interactive” dolphins. The file will be available on Sandy McCauley’s site. Savor the summer and have a wonderful August!
