Can this layout get any “happier?” I just LOVE how all the pretty papers go together and set the mood for this amazing photo!
I created two large vertical flags for this page by determining their width, finding the bottom center, adding a node and moving it upward. Then I outlined my flag shapes to further define them on my page. I added scallops to the left side of the red patterned paper to add interest. The unexpected pop of blue on the upper left of my photo started as a bracket, that I re-created by deleting the bottom nodes and adding a straight bottom edge. More scallops created a border to anchor my horizontal photograph. Four circles folded over bakers twine form a simple banner in the upper right corner. I mimicked the apple shape in the pink patterned paper, layered the apples and stitched them together for fun accents on my page. Lastly, I cut my title “Sisters,” three times and stacked one on top of the next for additional dimension in my page title. Buttons, a flower, a sticker and lace embellish my happy page.

AWESOME layout Susan!!! I love it! The elements are fantastic! I love banners, and pennants, and scallops on a page….and that Apple is so stinkin’ cute! Absolutely love this page. Ü
