This bathroom is very much an expression of the owner. The walls are done in a milk chocolate brown faux stucco that looks similar to crushed suede. The soap bar holder, toilet paper holder and shelf above the commode are painted with a rustic, textured paint. I had an idea for a personalized shower curtain to match the theme and finally sat down to design, cut and apply it. I envisioned a horse running toward me – cutting it in reverse of the final product.
The closest horse in the photo is 14′ wide and 17′ tall. Of course, I stacked them close together to cut the design and was able to use a 15 x 36 piece to cut all four. The vinyl from KNK USA was a dream to apply! I used a dry iron at the cotton setting and approximately 30 seconds per section.
Iron on vinyl can be used for so many things, I can’t wait to try it on something else!
I love this project. Oftentimes you buy buy a shower curtain and it needs a little
something to “jazz” it up. This is the perfect solution. Thanks for sharing.
