It’s 11 am…

This is a first. :O) I hate not being prepared and I could have posted so many things today, but I had it in my head what I wanted to post and it just wasn’t happening. So this morning I went to plan B…except it wasn’t done.  I hope it is worth the wait.

I love shopping at ReStore, Habitat for Humanity’s resale store, for things that I can repurpose. I found this door , I loved the color and wanted to use it as is. It is really a much uglier yellow than it appears. It had holes in it so I used 2 drawer pulls from Hobby Lobby to cover the holes. The vinyl was cut using my KNK Maxx and a  purchased design that I ended up editing.

This was a drawer front that I found there. I painted it black and once again I cut a purchased design from vinyl using my KNK Maxx.

And last but not least, someone asked me if I could do the “Footprints” saying on a tile. The answer should have been no. But I designed it in KNK  Studio, cut it with my Maxx, and then it was me against the vinyl. :O) I weeded it little by little until it was done. I applied it to a 12×12 floor tile. It will be a one of a kind because I will not make another. :O)

Have a great day, I am heading outside.

  3. Another great job, Nancy!!! All of them look wonderful. I can imagine the time and perseverence it took to weed and apply the Footprints tile. It turned out really well. Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. Impressive weeding with that footprints in the sand tile. That was a lot of little detail weeding! Great job!

  5. Nancy, that Footprints Tile is a remarkable feat. I am so PROUD of you for doing it and can understand why it won’t happen again. Wow. I love white door with the knobs. The saying is so true.
