It is that time of year again when I get lots of requests for wedding related items. This year it seems to be different types of guest books and chalkboard signs.
For this grouping I cut a piece of MDF 8″x12″ and painted it white. I then cut black outdoor vinyl and applied it to the board. The frame was a bit harder. I bought an 8″x8″ shadow box frame. The frame is plastic. I took it apart and cut a slot all the way through using an exacto knife. It took a while, but it cut through. I applied black cardstock to the inside back of the frame. The hearts were cut from white cardstock. I used the same black vinyl to apply the name to the heart.
This was a request, it will be used for the flower girl to carry down the aisle. It was made from an 1/8th” thick piece of wood. My husband was sweet enough to cut it for me. It was painted with black paint and then the vinyl was applied. I drilled holes and inserted a ribbon.
This is a guest book, the wedding guests will sign the board. It was made using 4 pieces of wood attached, stained black and then white washed. The heart was made using vinyl as a stencil.
And this was made the same way as the “Here comes the Bride” heart. The couples 2 year old son is going to wear this around his neck. :O)
It is so much fun to be able to create new and different things using my KNK Maxx!
