Haunted House Treat Bag

Hello fellow KnK-ers!

2 of the main aspects of Halloween that Children love is getting dresses up and receiving sweet treats, I have made a treat bag in the shape of a Haunted House today which is both decorative and is a fun way to present some sweets to your little ones. The Cut File is available at the end of this post.

These are the Materials I used:

These are the Zing Settings I used:

  • Blade = Standard
  • Blade Height = 25 post-it notes
  • Offset = 0.30
  • Speed = 10
  • Force =  100 (80 for lightweight card)
  • Passes = 1

Pic 1. The pieces you will need to cut are shown below, the solid pieces are the colour you wish your windows to become, you will also need a piece of ribbon for the handle:

Pic 2. Glue your solid pieces to the inside of your Haunted House making sure to add some glue between the window areas:

Pic 3. Once your coloured panels are in place, fold along all of the score lines and glue the hole strengthening end tabs down. You can then add some glue to your side tabs:

Pic 4. To form your bag line your sides up with the sloped sides of the house to create corners:

Pic 5. Now your bag is formed you can add your handle by threading ribbon through the holes from the outside, to keep it in place tie a knot on the inside:
