Welcome and thank you so very much for dropping by TeamKNK where everything’s coming up roses, roses and flowers that is–for me and for YOU! I here a song comin’ on 🙂
Today’s tutorial is how to use the amazing Make the Cut Software and the over the top KNK Zing electronic cutting machine to accomplish a shabby chic home decor project. Â Using the two you can create these beautiful flowers that adorn the altered paintbrush door hanger. This paintbrush was one of those that had gone past the point of no return—I know you’ve had one of those!! Â You will also learn a fun, easy n’ frugal technique to create a crackle paint effect.

When cutting flowers with the over the top Zing, I normally cut more than needed so that I’ll have some in my stash for a future creative venture:) You can use these flowers to adorn MANY different projects: picture frames, mint tins, cards, banners, hair clips, pins, and wreaths to name a few.
I would love to see and or hear of your projects that we may have inspired you to create on your MTC and KNK Zing! Have a super blessed September!! YOU are so special. Â Until next month… be blessed

Who knew a paint brush could be made to look so beautiful! Cool project, Tammy! I also love making dimensional flowers but you definitely dress yours up a lot more than I’ve ever done. I’m inspired to do more! Thanks for a great project!
I loved the finished product… Beautiful. You did a good job on your tutorial. Easy to follow. I love how you took an old paintbrush and recycled it to make something useful and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
You have done an outstanding job. I would never have thought of using an old paintbrush as the base of the arrangement.
Great Project!!!!
Wonderful project, thank you!
You made that paintbrush look so lovely.
