I don’t come up with ideas on my own. I wish I did, but I don’t. Pinterest is my friend. So when I came across these dress cards, I knew I had to make one.
Check out this site:

I basically used the template to draw an svg in inkscape and then I imported it into Make the Cut.
I cut it out on some pretty DCWV paper and then tied a green ribbon on it. For the background I used some Martha punches to give it a more girly look.
Because the card has some depth, I don’t think it could go in a regular envelope, but they make those box envelopes that would work perfectly.
Here’s another view so you can see how the folds were done.
Anyway, it was a quick and easy card to make and I’m sure it would make a great birthday, thank you or shower card, depending on what you stamp inside.
Machine used:
KNK Zing
speed: 10/10
force: 100+ (I wouldn’t recommend using my settings. I need to change my blade and haven’t)
Materials:
cardstock, plain
cardstock, dcwv (Hippie Chic stack)
green ribbon
glue stick
I will email the creator of the template and ask if I can share the file as an MTC file, if you are interested. I don’t want to share it without permission, even though I drew it differently.
Love this!
Very cute!
It turned out very cute, love the dress!
Darn cute. Hope she lets you share the file.
