“You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming.” ~Pablo Neruda
Thank you for visiting Team KNK and reading this post!
The above page was created using a 15″ KNK Maxx and KNK Software. The page title “Spring” was made with 1 Bean Sprout DNA font and cut 5-times, then layered to create a dimensional title.
The polygon shape tool was used to create multiple hexagons and then manipulate them to scale. This same method was used to create a hexagon template in order to trim 4×6 photos into this shape. Once the sizing was determined the contour object tool (.10) to create an outline for card stock photo-mats for the patterned hexagons and photos. The circle shape tool was used to create nine 1″ circles that I folded over twine to for my page banner. Two 5-petal flowers were made with the star shape tool and rounding mechanism. The flowers were crinkled and inked with a pre-made flower and button center. Lastly, I embellished my page with bling, text (font used: Agnes), pre-made flowers and a happy banner.
This same method recently to cut 475 hexagons for a layout class I taught earlier this week. This endeavor would have been overwhelming without my KNK Maxx!
I keep my 15″ KNK Maxx settings at Overcut 15 & Trailing Blade 20 because I only use my machine to cut paper.
Please visit the KNK Gallery on my website to see more projects that I have created using my Klic N Kut.

Susan, another stunning layout. I love yellow and often can’t find paper that is yellow so I was really impressed with this. I love the way the banner and hexagons turned out. Cutting your pictures that shape really makes them pop and allows the looker to focus on them. Thanks for sharing.
What a lovely layout. The hexagons really make it. I like that they are different sizes yet go together so well.
Absolutely gorgeous layout! I’m not a scrapbooker, but this almost inspires me to be one.
Wow very nice! I like the hexagons, referencing a beehive 😀
