Do you remember my post from December 8th where I used vinyl to decorate glass? Hmmmmm I thought, I have an Awesome KNK, why not make something where the glass does not looks plain. And where a gift looks pretty without harming my pocketbook, LOL. Remember, a gift is not valuable for how much it costs, it is valuable for the LOVE and dedication that you put into it. And the things made by your own hands add more value to your gift. You can make this project not just for Christmas but for any birthday gift, or just an appreciation gift.
I decided to make a penguin out of Fun Foam. With that and some ribbons these gifts took on a beautiful look. Let me show you the before and after pictures.
And now how to do it….
- Fun Foam
- F = 35
- V = 150
- Open the file from the MTC gallery (Penguin)
- Cut the Fun Foam using the colors that match the character that you are going to cut
- Glue them together to form the character
- Glue them to a stick and embellish the stick with ribbons
- Then attach it to your project
That snowman I made last year was for a wrapping gift. Because I loved it, I made another one for this gift.
I hope you have enjoyed this gift idea. Now try your own. It is fun to make them and you do not need to spend too much. That is one of the great things about having a KNK digital cutting machine.
