Chalk it up!

IMG_0863 Hello and Welcome to Team KNK blog:)  We are so thankful that you’re here!  Today we’re creating  Faux Chalkboard art with MTC and the uber awesome KNK Zing🙂

For today’s project you’ll need the following:

  • the over the top KNK ZING electronic die cutting machine
  •  the amaZING Make the Cut die cutting Software
  • a white Crayola colored pencil
  • a white Sakura Souffle’ pen
  • a Zig embossing pen
  • black card stock
  • white Zing embossing powder:)
  • a heat embossing tool
  • a homemade embossing buddy
  • a computer (MTC and the Zing were originally a Windows compatible system only, but there’s a Mac beta version that enables me to use a Mac)
  • and a couple of super fun ‘free fonts’  Bergamot Ornaments, Chalk-hand-lettering-shaded_demo

Click here for video tutorial:) or on the following link How to: Team KNK Faux Chalkboard Art

Using the KNK Zing and  Make the Cut software for this faux chalk board technique is super fun!  This technique can be used to create a layout, card, framed art (as I did), or a gift:)  Oh my, how about a little mint tin? I’d LOVE to hear what ideas are dancing in your head:)

I am super humbled, thankful, and honored to be a part of  team KNK. The Zing is so versatile and awesome:) Chalk another one up for the Zing!!

You are sooo special!!  Huge cyber {{{HUGS}}}  Until next time…. be blessed

About bartlettpair

Born and raised in Texas to two really awesome parents, the Lord decided it was time for my immediate family and I to "head 'em up and move 'em out!" to beautiful Wyoming. ~ Oh give me a home---where the buffalo roam---and the deer and the antelope play! That was almost 12 years ago. My studmuffin sweetheart and I have been married for 23 uber awesome years:) Our over the top son is 22 and our amazing daughter is 19. I so enjoy creating of all sorts---but over the past few years, I've developed such a love/passion/heart for creating (paper/metal/vinyl crafting --primarily cards) to bless others.

To the glory of our Lord Jesus, I am so very thankful, humbled, and honored to say that I am blessed Beyond Measure and I want that for you, too.

  6. What a clever idea to use an embossing pen in your Zing! I love that idea and will have to give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration Tammy!
Oh and Welcome from one newbie to another 🙂

  7. Question, I tried to use a Souffle pen in my Zing – and the first few letters were a blob of ink. The last few were fine, however. What am I doing wrong? I was using a force of 22 and a speed of 8.
