Cardstock Birthday Decoration

KNK, birthday, Omayra Duarte,

This was the decoration for a Birthday party that I had for my granddaughter where my KNK Groove-e did a great job; cutting the wall decorations, the letters for the name “Carlea” and “Gifts”, the boxes, Cake decoration, Gift box decoration, and many other things.

My KNK Groove-e is always busy. In this post I am going to show you how I created the Minnie wall decoration for the main table. I almost always make my projects like this one with fun foam. This time I decided to use Worldwin CutMates cardstock from knkusa.com just to see how it looks. The results were AMAZING, the cardstock that I used from knkusa.com is AWESOME, it cuts very easy and after the project is done it looks Very Beautiful, clean and professional. I LOVE this cardstock.

Minnie Wall Decoration for the Main Table

Materials Used:

Settings:

  • KNK Groove-e
  • Blue Blade
  • Force = 20
  • Speed = 150

Instructions:

    • I traced Minnie’s head from a keychain picture
    • Cut all the pieces using the respective colors to form her head
    • Put glitter on her bow
    • and glued it together

I LOVED so much the cardstock that knkusa.com has and that I used to make Minnie’s head, and boxes, and more other things for the decoration.

In my next project I will show you how I made the Minnie’s head box with the cardstock from knkusa.com. I am pretty sure you will love it too.

I also decorated the cake with a file created in MTC.

  1. Well you certainly go all out! It is beautiful, the amount of love and work you put into this shows. Great job Omayra!!!

  2. It is hard to believe that Carlea is 2 already! It seems like only last month you were excited about her arriving into the world! She sure is lucky to have such a talented, doting grandmother!
