This picture was made from a My Scrap Chick cutting file. I had made it into a card last year and it was so cute so I decided to try a picture size. I painted an 8×10 canvas midnight blue. I then cut the file so that it fit the canvas. The paper is coredinations, the white moon is gemstone, the stars are a metallic vinyl from www.KNKUSA.com, and the eyes are vinyl. It is one of the many great things about the KNK, you can cut almost any medium and any size that will fit your machine.
Wow, Very nice Nancy! This turned out great!
How adorable!
Those owls are SOOOO cute! And you did a great job on cutting and creating a very cute scene! I bet this looks incredible in person with the metallic vinyl stars!
Nancy, that is beyond cute! Great job!
Too cute!
Thanks for all of the nice comments. I love paper piecing, this is a great way to display it.
I have this file! LOL I have cut it out and just havent done anything with it…. you have inspired me Nancy, I LOVE your version!
Absolutely GORGEOUS Nancy. I LOVE owls and these are sooooo cute. I’m going to have to try and find those files and maybe CASE your canvas, if you don’t mind?!
The only thing I would do differently is use an 11×14 canvas. :O)
Nancy, that is sooo adorable, I love it.
Very, very cute! Thanks for the innovative idea of using a canvas to create a paper cut picture. You have shared another creative idea that I will definitely use. Thanks!
Love this!! I took your idea and made a matching one for my friend’s baby’s room. 🙂
