Baby Shower Decoration

Decoration, Baby Shower, KNK

This was the decoration that I did for my daughter-in-law’s baby shower. I used my KNK Groove-E to cut the letters out of paper and to cut each fun foam doll on the letters.

The template that I cut with my KNK Groove-E was used to cut those letters out of Styrofoam and then painted. To cut the styrofoam, I used a hot wired machine that my husband built for me. The fun foam doll was glued onto the styrofoam letters with hot glue.

The cutting files for the doll and hair can be downloaded in KNK, MTC, and PDF format from here:

In my next post, I will show the centerpieces that I also made with my Groove-E for the tables. So check this site every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to see what’s new!

  1. Oh My Goodness Omayra! How stinkin’ CUTE! What a fun sight to see when you walk into the baby shower! Congrats on your new Grandbaby!! 🙂

  2. So cute! Love what you come with each month. Can you tell me your setting for fun foam? Going to try my hand at it and would love a starting point. Looking forward to the centerpiece!

    • Thank you very much, Barbie. Once you try fun Foam you are going to love it. I use V=150 and F=25 I don’t know why, but sometimes I have to use V=150 and F=30 but not more than that because it cuts your mat.

  3. Love how cute those dolls were, Omayra! Bet your daughter-in-law was very pleased at those neat decorations. Bet you can’t wait for the baby to get here. Thanks for sharing the file.

  4. Wow, that is fantastic! A lot of work sure went into those decorations. Your DIL is sure lucky! Thank you so much for sharing AND the files too.
