It seems many of us at Team KNK have snowmen on our minds! This Thursday, we could get 4-12″ of snow in northern Illinois, so I’m just getting my mind wrapped around that. Maybe some snowmen projects will help! My snowman is holding seating place cards for our Christmas gatherings.
Unfortunately, our snowman has been indoors for a while and consequently is melting away before our eyes. I will endeavor to snap photos of him quickly, before he is completely gone.
Supplies needed:
- White Printable card stock (and a printer)
- Glossy, Transparent material (I used .005 Duralar) – Optional
- Adhesive
- Coloring tool
Step 1: Print the file on 8.5 x 11 card stock.
Step 2: Load the printed white paper into your cutter, ‘hide’ layers 1 and 2, perform the alignment tasks and cut the outline of the shapes. Remove the cut pieces from your mat. Color the back side of the stick arms to match the printed side. Set these pieces aside.
Step 3: (Optional) Load a sheet of transparent, glossy material into your cutter. Hide or remove all objects except the puddle. Cut the puddle shape and remove the cut piece from your mat.
Step 4: Put the bottom of the snowman through the transparent material curving him toward the front, then put him through the card stock as well. Fold the flaps alternately as shown and adhere.
Step 5: Adhere the arms to the name card. Fold and adhere the hat to the snowman’s head.
Repeat for each of your guests. Click here for the free file.

Thank you! This particular product is very static-clingy so it stays right with the card stock nicely – and together looks like its wet!
