I brought it into MTC and broke apart the words so I could move them around a bit. I overlapped the “YOU” with the other two lines and welded them together.
I used the offset feature to make a background and then did it again and sized it big enough to make a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card. I copied that image and mirrored it to the left of the original and then welded those two images to make the card base.
Right after I cut all the pieces out, my computer did this horrific crash and I realized I didn’t save the file. I don’t think MTC starts making backups until you save, at least I couldn’t find one.
So boys and girls save your files. If I get a chance to recreate it, I will add the file here. It was pretty easy to do.
Last year we planted a bunch of succulents in our yard and they are blooming (along with some other flowers we didn’t plant, but they look cool). So I took the photos using those as a back drop.
My kids didn’t get the “Happy YOU day” as a birthday card. Please tell me you get it and it’s not totally lame.
