I am usually pretty practical. And when I go through all the trouble to paint a room, decorate a room, clean a room – I want it to stay that way for as long as possible! While painting the kitchen, I saw that there was great potential for water damage on the cupboard where we hang our kitchen hand towel. Ohhhhh, and the slobber marks from our dogs near their dishes is horrendous!
My solution; wall vinyl, of course. I measured the space and created my file in MTC. I cut the file, applied it to the cupboard, and then added a Command® hook in the clip style to hold the hand towel.
For this project, I took a little time to create my pattern and select the color – but the cutting was done in less than 5 minutes!
- Zing with standard material blade
- f = 5-15
- v=10/10 (Zing)
- v=15/15 (Zing Air)
- Maxx Air with standard material blade
- f = 5-15
- v = 300
- Maxx with standard material blade
- f = 30
- v = 350
Doggie back splash – If I had 24″ wall vinyl, I would have made the dog dish back splash larger. As it is, it will still fend off many a slobber – lol.
Although you will likely have to resize the files, both are attached here. For the towel back splash, change the width to match your space and simply weld another rectangle of the same width to the bottom to obtain the desired height.
