Christmas tags

Wow! I feel like I hit the jackpot! I found this site that had links to all kinds of free Christmas stuff. The post is kind of old, so some of the links are dead. http://thevinylcut.com/free-christmas-design-images/?doing_wp_cron=1481845965.9857211112976074218750#.WFMs0rHMyuU

But I found this one:

Paper Cut Holiday Gift Tags

And there was a free file and everything… so I knew I had my project for this month! I needed some quick and easy tags for gifts for some of my co workers.

Ha ha. Nothing like taking pictures to see there was a few spots I forgot to weed…

I cut them out with my Zing on some craft paper and used some red baker’s twine to finish them. Instead of writing in the to/from like the original blog poster did, I just quickly stamped it in.

Materials:

KNK Zing

red blade

Kraft card stock

red/white baker’s twine

to/from stamps (I think I bought them at Joann’s)

Directions

  1. Import svg file into Make the Cut.
  2. cut out file
  3. weed the tiny little pieces out and don’t say too many bad words.
  4. stamp to/from on them
  5. tie baker’s twine on them
  6. have a drink and some sort of Christmas-y snack of your choice.

Until next year!
