Christmas a bit late…

My nephew Aaron is 42 and single. About a year and a half ago he decided to be a foster parent. He first got 4 brothers ages 8-17. When they returned home he got a 15 year old boy, and 11 months later he got a sibling group of 3, 2 girls, ages 3 and 6  and their 8 year old brother. Our family decided to adopt them for Christmas and Aaron said they would love Christmas stockings with their names on them.  I LOVE making personalized items for kids!

For the stockings I used some red glitter felt. I used the fabric blade and cut the names. I used the multi cut feature and cut the letters 4 times.  I then used fabric glue to adhere them to the stockings. Believe it or not, I had everything pictured in my “stash”, so I didn’t have to purchase anything. I purchase items on clearance and save them for times like this! Otherwise I would have looked for stockings that I could use  with HTV. The aprons and the cinch bags were made using heat transfer vinyl and the water bottles were made using permanent vinyl.

  1. Thank you to Aaron for what he’s doing for the wonderful children! And what a special gift that will always be such a wonderful memory they will have.

  2. It is my hope that where ever they end up they are able to keep these and have great memories.
